    Fault Code 10

Fault: Faulty HX OT1 switch – open when cool. Lead disconnected from HX OT1. Maximum room fan speed set too low during set‐up. Thermistor in zoned‐off duct branch. Thermistor (2‐stage & modulating models) too far from heater outlet. Low room air flow due to user selection of low fan speed or automatic selection of low fan speed in zoned operation (2‐stage and modulating models). Low room air flow.

Potential Cause (Technical Use Only: Potential remedy):

If there is no obvious reason for the thermistor temperature being > 60oC when starting, such as a power supply interruption, check the following:

    • Replace switch if required.
    • Re‐connect lead – refer wiring diagram on underside of heater lid if required
    • Check maximum room fan speed – increase if required.
    • Re‐locate thermistor to duct run that cannot be zoned off
    • Move to 3m from heater along outlet duct if required.
