Braemar Error Code 13

Fault Code 13: PS high closed at start.  Condensate blocking combustion fan suction hose. Faulty pressure switch, contacts stuck closed.

    Fault Code 13

    Fault: PS high failed to close. Combustion fan not operating. Combustion fan motor or fan wheel dislodged or jammed. Combustion fan suction hose disconnected or damaged.

    Potential Cause (Technical Use Only: Potential remedy):

    • Combustion fan suction hose disconnected or damaged.  Re‐connect or replace combustion fan suction hose. 
    • Flue system blockage.  Check and clear blockage. 
    • Combustion fan blocked.  Check and un‐block combustion fan. 
    • Condensate blocking combustion fan suction hose.  Clear blockage.  Check flue condensate drain fitted correctly (condensing models only). 
    • Swarf obstructing combustion fan pressure tapping.  Check both ends of pressure tapping – clear obstruction or replace pressure tapping. 
    • Faulty pressure switch – contacts stuck open.  Check suction pressure – if sufficient, and pressure switch does not close, replace pressure switch.
    • Flue cowl pushed on too far.  Check and re‐fit flue cowl.
