Braemar Fault Code 17

Fault: Condensate detected during run (condensing models).

Potential Cause (Technical Use Only: Potential remedy):

• Condensate drain transit plugs left in heater during installation.  Remove drain plug and install condensate drain. CAUTION – IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT A CONTAINER IS AVAILABLE TO COLLECT ANY CONDENSATE THAT DRAINS WHEN THE DRAIN PLUG IS REMOVED. 
• Condensate drain blocked.  Check and clear blockage if required. 
• Condensate drain running up‐ hill away from heater.  Check and re‐route if required.
• Flue condensate drain kit (Internal heaters) not fitted, or not fitted correctly.  Check and correct or fit flue condensate drain if required. 
• Condensate drain freezing.  Insulate full length of condensate drain using suitable insulation, eg, Armaflex or similar.
